Hemroid Treatment For Hemroid Pain
50If you have ever been plagued by the pain caused by hemroids, you know its not much fun. While nobody likes to talk about it publicly an unusually large number of the American population suffer from this affliction. It is gross and embarrasing to talk about so many times we suffer in silence rather than risk being laughed at or shunned. It is very personal.
There are tons of articles about what hemroids are and what they look like so I will not go into that here. If you are reading this, you probably already know that you have them. If you are bleeding and/or experiencing pain, you should see a doctor for a diagnosis. Don't guess, it is too important. There are other far more serious diseases that cause blood down there, so don't take chances, find out for sure.
Thankfully, there are hemroid treatments that are available that can treat and eventually cure hemroids. Many of them are herbal so they are natural ingredients with few, if any, side effects.
There are also surgical methods of removing hemroids but again this is something to discuss with a doctor. I personally once contemplated surgery but after research I found several herbal remedies that completely relieved my symptoms and negated the considerations of medical procedures. I had also read that surgery is not necessarily the best answer anyway because in many cases even after surgery, the hemroids return.
Some common herbal ingredients are:
Horse Chestnut Leaf
Arguably the most well known and well researched herb in the treatment of hemorrhoids.
Studies show that Horse Chestnut, especially the leaf, is highly effective at improving circulation,
reducing swelling and inflammation, and healing and strengthening damaged vascular tissue.
Witch Hazel Leaf
Renowned as one of the most effective herbs for vascular problems, Witch Hazel is a natural
astringent and is known to reduce swelling and inflammation caused by hemroids.
Ginger Root
Extremely well known as a digestive aid, Ginger has been used in medicine since ancient times
and is known for it's antioxidant and anti-microbial properties and can be very soothing to
the digestive tract.
While these are very common ingredients contained in many hemroid treatments, there are many, many more. Most of the hemroid treatments available today have a multi-faceted approach to treating the symptoms of hemroids. Most if not all attempt to reduce the swelling of the blood vein, and lubricate the exterior area to protect the hemroid from being aggravated. In addition many have a topical pain killer of some sort to soothe the pain.
Some common products are Preparation H, VenaPro, Hem Relief and ZenMed Ziro.
